Born in Tel Aviv, Israel, Sharon Nir is the author of "The Opposite of Comfortable: The Unlikely Choices of a Career Immigrant Woman" (Viki Press/May 2016). A systems analyst and marketing manager in the high tech industry, she holds a bachelor of art degree in language and literature from Tel Aviv University and an MBA in marketing and international management from Northeastern University of Massachusetts. She resides in Albuquerque, New Mexico, with her husband and two children.
